As a creative partner, I excel in collaboration as means of working through ambiguity. I received my BFA and Master’s from Carnegie Mellon University, where I was an active participant in craft-based learning.
For early stages of collaboration, I find that illustration can be an effective tool to generate feedback and elicit ideas. For later stages, illustration can be an evocative way to clarify complex ideas & create emotional engagement.
In my work, I am particularly interested in themes of representation and sharing a diversity of view points through thoughtful and meaningful visual solutions.
I am available for freelance animation design and editorial illustration: hello@samiaahmed.com
